What can be cared for virtually?
DermCafé CAN'T safely provide virtual care for:

Inadequately captured on photo:

Mole/skin cancer concerns

Concerns inside the mouth

Concerns in the anal/genital region

Hair loss besides male-pattern-type

Concerns on the scalp

Total or regional body skin checks

Severe eczema or psoriasis

Large birthmarks

Requires in-person care from the onset:

Widespread/complex rashes

Wounds

Procedural care (e.g. skin cancer removals)

Warts

Medical emergencies

Prescription for controlled substances
These concerns require in-person care at physical Dermatologist offices

Children under 18 are not required to attend video call appointment if parent is present as long as high quality photos are submitted. However if your child is old enough to participate, they are encouraged to attend!
