Is my allergy concern treated at DermCafé?
The most common allergy concerns treated at DermCafé include:
Itchy skin swellings (hives)
Reactions to food​, bugs or medications

If, during your virtual Allergy appointment, it is determined that you need skin testing, an in-person appointment in Toronto will be arranged for you
What can I expect for my experience?
First, you will submit your info & photos

Then, choose to either receive the Allergist's Consultation within 24 hrs guaranteed, or to book a live video appointment

Everything (including prescriptions) can be accessed on your DermCafé Portal, which you get access to after the first experience
Is there a fee?
It depends on your selected service & province.
If you have a valid OHIP, UHIP, MSP, AHS, or ALUMO (previously Morcare) card, there is no fee for Medical Video appointments.

Rapid Assessments are not covered by any provincial insurance
How long is the wait?
This also depends on your service & province.
